On 14th January, 2020, Cyber Surgery and VirtualWare held a milestone/year assessment meeting of ASSURE project with collaborating centers (CEIT, Vicomtech, Virtual Ware Labs, BioDonostia and BioCruces).
ASSURE project aims to provide greater safety to the robotic surgical assistant developed by Cyber Surgery. To this end, Cyber Surgery and VirtualWare collaborate together in this project in order to reduce the learning curve of the robotic system by developing a virtual reality training environment. In addition, Cyber Surgery develops an intelligent guidance system within the framework of the project that allows the practitioner to move the robotic assistant more accurately and safely.
